‘FOLLOW’ ‘LIKE’ AND ‘PIN’ ARE KEY TO NONPROFIT AWARENESS AND SUCCESS!

@WindFarmOnline Joins the Fight as Social Marketing Partner for Local Childhood Cancer Organization @KeatonRaphael

Roseville CA, October 29 2013- The Keaton Raphael Memorial , a local non-profit helping children battling cancer and their families, joins online forces with social marketing  gurus at Windfarm Marketing.  The goal is to strategically establish and build KRM’s brand and online presence as two companies coming together to join in the fight as one. A strategic online presence is especially important for KRM as a free outlet to communicate and build awareness, stay in touch with past and present families, donors, and supporters, along with capturing attention of the new.

According to PEW Research center, as of December 2012, nearly 67% of online adults are using social media platforms. Social media began just barely 10 years ago and continues to rise and develop into a free crucial online marketing tool. Whether a profile is built, a Twitter handle is created, or a blog is posted, every domain needs to be created and maintained for companies to communicate and succeed, especially in a nonprofit world where marketing funds are minimal and advertising is not in the budget.

“55% of those who engage with non-profits via social media have been inspired to take further action. As a digital agency focused on social and inbound marketing, WindFarm is in a position to make an impact for causes our team is passionate about, and fighting child cancer is at the top of our list. We chose to partner with KRM for that reason, along with their vision to help lead this fight.” Founder and CEO of WindFarm Marketing, Inc. Josh

Within the nonprofit world staff is small, time is minimal, and funding is short so often social marketing is the element in communication which is neglected the most.  To have talented team stand behind a powerful cause provides massive opportunities and  possibilities as KRM and Windfarm join in the conquest to communicate with families, drive awareness, promote events, all in an effort to continue a mission of hope and raise funds for a cure one day.

“Social Media means providing our families, donors, kids, and supporters with up to date, real-time  information about what we are doing to continue our mission in providing assistance to our past, present, and future families across Northern California.” KRM Executive Director, Teresa Hofhenke states, “With the talent, drive, and expertise from the Windfarm Marketing team this is a partnership that will develop great results and provide an opportunity for our organization to build greater awareness resulting in assisting more families through their child’s battle.”
