Hope, Strength, and Healing for families coping with a child cancer diagnosis

Meet Keaton Kiddo ~ Kevin

Meet Keaton’s Kiddo, Kevin. Kevin is an incredible eighteen-year-old who is so sweet and kind. Kevin likes playing video games and being outdoors. Kevin has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow with excess immature white blood cells.

Throughout his journey, Kevin has been such a strong and positive kiddo. Kevin has been inpatient at the hospital, since his home is about three hours away. His parents are his primary caregivers and commute six-hour round trips to visit him and remain by Kevin’s side every step of the way.

To support this long commute, Keaton’s Family Navigators provided Kevin’s family with Arco Gas cards and shared joy-filled experiences with a Hope Chest for him and his two siblings Alondra and Daniel. Kevin and his family were so thrilled and cherished all of their goodies.

Kevin’s bright smile and positive personality keep his family going. The Keaton’s team will continue to support Kevin, his siblings and parents as they continue to navigate their childhood cancer journey.
