Potter The Otter Activity Kits Donated ~ Thank You First 5 Placer

Thank you to First 5 Placer for your generous donation of Potter the Otter Activity Kits! First 5 recently donated 50 Activity Kits that we are thrilled to share with the families of Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance (KCCA). One of our goals, as an organization, is to encourage a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition.  Along with various educational materials included in our “HopeChests,” we are excited to be able to add Potter the Otter Activity Kits as a nutritional resource for children battling cancer and their families. With a focus on early childhood development, First 5 is a wonderful resource for families as they strive to create an environment that promotes healthy development of children.  KCCA understands the value of a strong community, and we appreciate First5’s commitment to providing families with valuable resources that support healthy development for children. We look forward to future collaboration with this wonderful organization!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every 3 minutes, a family’s life is turned upside down when they hear the four devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, we believe that every child deserves a fighting chance – and you can help make that a reality.

This month, we honor brave young warriors, remember our precious Angels, and stand with families fighting childhood cancer today. From fundraising events to volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to join this mission of hope.

Together, let’s Glow Gold and remind every family: you are not alone in this journey. This September, we shine a light of awareness, love, and unwavering support for every child and family facing childhood cancer.
