What’s New at Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance – Keaton’s Korner July 2019

Save the Date!  Soak up the sun this summer and join us in never wanting it to end!  On Saturday, September 28, come celebrate Summer’s beauty with cocktails and delicious bites by the pond, romantic bike rides along the pathways, and the glow of the sunset.

We toast the end to summer with a farm to fork seasonal meal hosted by Bella Bru, entertainment, and auctions all to support Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance’s ability to carry local families through cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Moment with Love for Malachi

Malachi is facing something no teenager should have to – a rare and aggressive cancer called myxoid pleomorphic liposarcoma. 
 At an age where most kids are thinking about college and their next big adventure, Malachi is thinking about treatments, hospital stays, and fighting for his future. But what’s incredible is this: Malachi is still choosing to live fully. He’s choosing joy. He’s choosing moments.

Meet Keaton’s Kiddo Emily

In honor of Brain Cancer Awareness Month, we’d like to introduce you to Keaton’s Kiddo Emily, a remarkable young fighter who has been part of our Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance family since 2018. “Our journey began in Aug 2018, Emily our 8-year-old was waking up everyday with headaches and throwing up in the morning. After a CT Scan, we were told a MRI was needed as they saw a mass in her brain. Worse fear ever is hearing they found a mass, and you would need to be admitted….
