When “simple” act becomes something truly life-changing.
At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, our mission is to provide children with cancer and their families with emotional, educational, and financial support – walking alongside them through every step of their journey. Sometimes, that support looks like something simple. And sometimes, that “simple” act becomes something truly life-changing.
Recently, thanks to the generosity of The Alliance: Defending the Cause of Kids & Families, we were able to provide five brand-new twin bed sets to a family of eight.
This family – two parents and six children – arrived in the United States just one year ago. Since then, they have been working tirelessly to rebuild their lives, adjusting to a new environment while striving to create stability for their children. Up until this moment, every bed they had ever owned was a used donation. Brand new was something they had never experienced.
This is what Keaton’s Mission in Motion looks like.
It’s a reminder that support doesn’t always come in grand gestures – sometimes, it’s found in the everyday essentials that bring peace, stability, and hope. Because of this generosity, this family can rest a little easier as they continue their journey.
