THE “NO SURPRISE GUYS” HELP SUPPORT KIDS WITH CANCER

Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating, And Air Joins Forces with Local Childhood Cancer Organization, Keaton Raphael Memorial, to Help them Provide Support for Children who are Battling Cancer and Their Families Across Northern California.

Sacramento  CA, January 29 – Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating, and Air (BBPHA) announces partnership with local non-profit,  Keaton Raphael Memorial (KRM), by providing  funds and awareness opportunities to help kids battling cancer and their families. A company that values family and those they serve is a perfect fit for an organization focused on a family’s journey with cancer.  This is a partnership that will play a large part in helping KRM assist more families with a direct impact of BBPHA support in neighborhoods and homes they visit every day.

“I had the pleasure of meeting one of KRM’s families at a fundraiser in 2013, around the same time my own Family was impacted by Cancer. As a parent my heart broke for them and as I learned more about KRM and their efforts I knew we had to get involved. We embrace our corporate responsibility to give back in the community. It is an honor to support what KRM is doing to help these kids and their families.” Lauren Edvalson, Director of Marketing for Bell Brothers, speaks about her connection to KRM.

According to Truist’s, 6 Ways Giving  Back is Good for Businesses, “Companies reap a wide variety of benefits leading to greater employee engagement, improved business performance, and stronger relationships with their clients and customers.” The Bell Brothers have had great success in the Sacramento Region due to their commitment to customer service for many years, but also have encouraged employee’s to join their efforts in being a philanthropic company who cares.

“The Bell Brothers stand behind treating customers, employees, and vendors like family and we are so honored to partner with a company representing such values and beliefs every day. This partnership will enable us to enhance our Family Navigator Program, which provides numerous resources to our families during their child’s cancer journey, and added outreach to build the awareness KRM needs in order to be known and help more families.” – Teresa Hofhenke, Executive Director for Keaton Raphael Memorial.

Funds will be used to purchase therapeutic and educational resources for children battling cancer in our community and their siblings along with provide financial assistance for their parents for food, gas, and other daily needs so they can focus on their child getting better.  This partnership opportunity will also allow continuing the family navigator program to help stand by the families during this troubled time in hopes to provide a bit of relief and direction towards resources they will need.

Bell Brothers team is also taking action as they walk in solidarity for kids with cancer and shave their heads this year for a  St. Baldrick’s event on March 3 held at their warehouses. Staff members and their families will come together to show their support for Kids battling cancer and help raise funds towards childhood cancer research both on a local and national level.
