Sacramento Kings Present “Here We Shave”

DE VERE’S IRISH PUB & THE SACRAMENTO KINGS PRESENT “HERE WE SHAVE!”

de Vere’s Irish Pub has teamed up with the Sacramento Kings for the Keaton Raphael Memorial’s 10th Annual St. Baldrick’s head-shaving fundraiser.

The partnership starts on Tuesday, March 1st, when the Sacramento Kings host the Los Angeles Clippers. de Vere’s is offering discounted tickets to the game so pub fans can go enjoy the game and be a part of the St. Baldrick’s action.

At the end of the first quarter, two female UC Davis Cancer Center employees will get their heads shaved live on the Power Balance Pavilion jumbotron. Throughout the game, the Keaton Raphael Memorial, along with de Vere’s and the UCD Cancer Center, will have a St. Baldrick’s tent to collect donations, recruit participants, and help raise awareness for the St. Baldrick’s Day event at the Sacramento pub on Thursday, March 15th, 2012.

Tickets are available through this link: www.kingsticketsave.com/GetBald

Fans can also order exclusive St. Patrick’s 2012 t-shirts through their ticket confirmation email and pick it up at the game at the de Vere’s tent. A portion of all ticket and t-shirt proceeds benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every 3 minutes, a family’s life is turned upside down when they hear the four devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, we believe that every child deserves a fighting chance – and you can help make that a reality.

This month, we honor brave young warriors, remember our precious Angels, and stand with families fighting childhood cancer today. From fundraising events to volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to join this mission of hope.

Together, let’s Glow Gold and remind every family: you are not alone in this journey. This September, we shine a light of awareness, love, and unwavering support for every child and family facing childhood cancer.
