My Special Aflac Ducks Gifted to Keaton’s

A big thank you to the Aflac Team for their donation of My Special Aflac Ducks for Keaton’s Families! This soft and cuddly companion helps children prepare for medical procedures, communicate their feelings, practice distraction techniques and so much more.

Keaton’s Kiddo Asher received his Special Aflac Duck and was overjoyed while playing with his new friend!

“Asher and our family love the Aflac duck so much! Thank you so much for letting Asher have one. He brings it everywhere.

Asher has learned so much about ‘Momo’ his duck! With the app you can feed your duck, give them their daily medicine, shower them, fly off into space with your duck and go to different planets including a calming planet and carnival planet. Asher keeps bringing up benefits for kids who are hospital-bound. We will have to have Asher come in and give everyone a tour.”

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every 3 minutes, a family’s life is turned upside down when they hear the four devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, we believe that every child deserves a fighting chance – and you can help make that a reality.

This month, we honor brave young warriors, remember our precious Angels, and stand with families fighting childhood cancer today. From fundraising events to volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to join this mission of hope.

Together, let’s Glow Gold and remind every family: you are not alone in this journey. This September, we shine a light of awareness, love, and unwavering support for every child and family facing childhood cancer.
