Emily age 13 Diagnosis:
Liver Sarcoma-Hepatocellular carcinoma is a rare disease in which cancerous cells are found in the tissues of the liver. Hepatocellular carcinoma may occur in multiple sites within the liver, and is much less responsive to chemotherapy than hepatoblastoma. Cancer cells can also spread (metastasize) to other areas of the body. The most common sites of metastasis are the lungs, into the abdomen and abdominal structures, and rarely to bone, the central nervous system, and the bone marrow.
