In the delightful atmosphere of Cliff’s Garden, our Keaton’s teens and their teen siblings could be found bonding, laughing, and sharing special moments with each other.
During September, Keaton’s Teen Alliance collaborated with the Together We Heal Community and Cliff’s Garden to create an inviting evening for our teens to personalize their own shadow box art, and peacefully pick fresh flowers to create some beautiful arrangements.
Keaton’s teen, Diana, shares the benefits of this therapeutic evening, “Unlike most of the activities that we have done in the past that are a bit more fast-paced, this one was more relaxing, which is something that I desperately needed since at the time I was a third into my first semester of college. I think what I liked the most was that the atmosphere was tranquil. I also really enjoyed taking home some flowers from the small garden that was there. I was really able to unwind mentally, emotionally, and physically, which made me feel serene and well-rested for the weekend. I would totally go again if the chance comes up and encourage others to go as well.”
Keaton’s Teen Alliance strives to create intentional and impactful moments for teens whose lives have changed immensely due to childhood cancer and other life moments.
