Moment with Love for Malachi

Meet Keaton’s Kiddo Malachi. At 18 years old, Malachi is the kind of kid who lights up a room with his smile and keeps you laughing with his quick wit.

He loves sports, video games, and just being with his friends. But right now, Malachi is facing something no teenager should have to a rare and aggressive cancer called myxoid pleomorphic liposarcoma.

At an age where most kids are thinking about college and their next big adventure, Malachi is thinking about treatments, hospital stays, and fighting for his future. But what’s incredible is this: Malachi is still choosing to live fully. He’s choosing joy. He’s choosing moments.

That’s where Alianza contra el cáncer infantil de Keaton comes in. Our mission is simple but powerful –  we create Moments with Love for children fighting cancer. Not just treatment plans or support groups – moments. The kind that remind these kids that they’re not defined by a diagnosis, but by who they are: brave, funny, kind, and full of life.

We were honored to bring one of those moments to Malachi through an unforgettable Car Show experience a generous collaboration between 916 Cars and Coffee, Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento, and our Keaton’s team. Rows of stunning cars and even more amazing people showed up, not just to impress, but to embrace Malachi with support and strength.

This event isn’t just about horsepower and chrome – it’s about community. It’s about showing Malachi that he’s not alone, that hundreds of people are rallying to make sure he gets to feel celebrated, seen, y surrounded by love.

Huge thanks to 916CNC, Child Life Mommy and Mercedes Benz of Sacramento for making it all happen. Your love and effort created more than an event – it was a celebration of life and community.

Malachi, your bravery inspires us all. And to everyone who came – thank you for showing that love drives everything.

Keep rolling, warrior. We’re all with you.

Septiembre es el Mes de Concientización sobre el Cáncer Infantil

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every 3 minutes, a family’s life is turned upside down when they hear the four devastating words, “Your child has cancer.” At Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, we believe that every child deserves a fighting chance – and you can help make that a reality.

This month, we honor brave young warriors, remember our precious Angels, and stand with families fighting childhood cancer today. From fundraising events to volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to join this mission of hope.

Together, let’s Glow Gold and remind every family: you are not alone in this journey. This September, we shine a light of awareness, love, and unwavering support for every child and family facing childhood cancer.
