Leucemia linfoblástica aguda– Leucemia es un tipo de cáncer que afecta los glóbulos blancos (WBC) del cuerpo. Normalmente, los glóbulos blancos ayudan a combatir las infecciones y protegen el cuerpo contra las enfermedades. Pero en la leucemia, los glóbulos blancos se vuelven cancerosos y se multiplican cuando no deberían, lo que da como resultado demasiados glóbulos blancos anormales, que luego interfieren con la función de los órganos.
