Esperanza, fortaleza y sanación para familias que enfrentan un diagnóstico de cáncer infantil

Childhood Cancer is family diagnosis

There are three key facts about childhood cancer:

  1. Childhood cancer does not discriminate.
  2. A childhood cancer diagnosis targets the entire family.
  3. No family can prepare for a childhood cancer diagnosis.

Family routines change dramatically the minute a childhood cancer diagnosis occurs. Traveling back and forth to hospitals, staying in hotel rooms, eating on the road and oftentimes the loss of a job leaves a family in an even greater state of stress.

Our goal is to care for the entire family by providing the resources they need to stay afloat financially and emotionally during this trying time.

Today, we continue to

  • Provide resources and services to improve the quality of life for childhood cancer patients and their families.
  • Educate our community about childhood cancer.
  • Raise funds for childhood cancer research and treatments.
  • Spend an average of three years with each family referred to Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance.
