Volunteer Plan

GOAL

To help each golfer and vendor have a great experience & to support local children with cancer.

VOLUNTEER ATTIRE:

• Please wear comfortable closed-toed shoes
• Casual attire is preferred {90+ deg weather} with a colored shirt or blouse {khakis are great!}
• No jeans
• Wear sunblock and/or a hat

EVENT TIMELINE:

• 7:30AM -GOLFERS BEGIN TO ARRIVE
• 8AM – 9AM-BREAKFAST AND BLOODY MARY’S SERVED
• 9AM START TIME [2 TEAMS ON EACH HOLE BEGIN GOLFING AT THE SAME TIME ON ALL OF THE HOLES]
• 2:00PM – 2:30PM GOLF ENDS AND GOLFERS START COMING OFF COURSE
• 2:00PM – 3:00PM GOLF DRIVE-THRU EXIT

VOLUNTEER TASKS/INFO:

Once the golfers arrive they will be directed to the registration tables, unless they have pre-registered, then they can go directly to the golf staff for their cart assignment.

Be available and ready for any task.  You may be pre-assigned a specific job, but this event is fluid and moves quickly, so please be flexible on your position.

Golf Carts are limited, so please only use an assigned cart and pull the key when you park but are not finished using the cart, so it does not disappear!

AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE BY THE GOLFERS:  The Ultimate golfer raffle package {$100}, On Course Package {$30} Includes Mulligans, Golf Ball Cannon, pro hit, and the Fund-a-Family opportunity where they will compete for the most giving golf cart {twosome}.  Everything else is included in their golfer entry fee/sponsorship.

We will take pre-orders for their lunch choice to be picked up from La Casita when they pass the shack between hole #9 & #10.  Golfers will pass from both directions.  A hosted cocktail will also be available there.  Tubs of beer, soda, and water will be placed on every 3rd hole on course.

On Course Package – $30

Includes Mulligans-A chance at a do-over hit, one hit by the pro on course, and the golf ball cannon shot

VOLUNTEER FOOD AND DRINKS:

• We will have cold drinks available in the morning.
• Lunch will be provided with drinks and snacks throughout the day.
• Please use the volunteer lounge {conference room} for eating and resting.
